We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager (m/f/d) to empower and influence our sales teams to produce quality and predictable revenue within the fast-growing construction industry, while ensuring our processes and guidelines are followed.  This critical role is responsible for actively working with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other cross functional teams on deal structuring and commercial terms. This role is a true value-add partner and considered the business liaison to the field sales organization for all deals.
You will report into the Manager Sales Operations.

Engage, empower & learn | Your tasks

  • Build proposals and contracts for offerings, compliant to Thinkproject Guidelines and Procedures
  • Advise Sales Population on complete contractual paperwork for correct Revenue Accounting including Management Reporting and ensure compliance to legal guidelines
  • Participate in customer negotiations
  • Facilitate the necessary approvals needed for the negotiated offerings
  • Focal point between Customers, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Legal, Regional Management and Business Units
  • Focal point to escalate specific customer requests on Pricing, Offerings, Terms & Conditions
  • Revenue analyses for Sales Management and recommend operational improvements
  • Develop, implement and maintain business controls regarding processes around Opportunity management, Pricing and Proposals, Solution design and Delivery according to Thinkproject Guidelines
  • Enablement of Sales Population on new guidance around Thinkproject Guidelines and Procedures
  • Communicate and educate Sales Population and other Thinkproject Teams on Thinkproject processes regarding Contracts, Terms & Conditions and Pricing

Open-minded, committed & versatile | Your profile

  • 3+ years of experience in a Deal Desk, Finance, Contracts or Revenue Role in an Enterprise Software Sales Organization (SaaS)
  • Understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Adept at business partnering and working with cross functional teams, building meaningful business relationships along the way
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task
  • Result driven and organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Fluent in English and German, any other language welcome
  • Contract structuring experience is a plus
