What your day will look like
- As part of the Finance Planning & Operations team, you oversee all financial aspects related to personnel costs
- Analyse reported figures and variances to forecast / budget
- Manage the creation of accounting/reporting rules and controls for accurate allocation of payroll costs (e.g. by cost center, type, function, region, etc.)
- Validate the consistency of payroll data in HR, payroll and financial reporting systems and ensure data completeness and accuracy
- Ensure correct accounting treatment of sales compensations and bonus accruals
- Collaborate with HR, Finance and business teams as part of rolling personnel headcount and cost forecasts
- Validate the financial impact of hiring requests and ensure the alignment with group targets
- Propose improvements to reporting, planning & analytical processes and system setup related to payroll costs
What you need to fulfill the role
- University degree in accounting, finance, or related filed.
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Attention to detail, with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Trustworthy person able to manage employee payroll data accurately and confidentially
- Very good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite, LucaNet, Rexx is beneficial.
- Fluency in English and ideally very good German skills
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced international environment
