What your day will look like
We have an exciting new position for an Email Marketing Manager to be based out of Bucharest. In this role you will:
- Own the email marketing channel end-to-end, including campaign emails, nurture programs, newsletters, product communications, event emails, and landing pages.
- Define and evolve the email channel strategy aligned with growth objectives, funnel performance, and overall go-to-market priorities.
- Drive measurable impact on MQL creation, pipeline progression, and customer engagement through structured lifecycle and campaign programs.
- Own audience segmentation, targeting logic, and activation across the marketable contacts database to ensure relevance and scalability.
- Design and optimize prospect and customer email journeys as part of integrated campaign and lifecycle programs.
- Build and manage emails, landing pages, forms, and automation workflows in HubSpot and/or Marketo.
- Establish and maintain best practices for segmentation, personalization, deliverability, compliance, and preference management.
- Monitor channel performance and lead structured experimentation (A/B testing, cadence, content, personalization) to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
- Leverage AI tools and emerging capabilities to enhance personalization, workflow logic, testing, and overall channel efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Campaign Managers, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales Ops, and Marketing Ops to align messaging, automation requirements, and data governance.
What you need to fulfill the role
- 4–6+ years of hands-on experience owning email marketing and automation programs with performance accountability, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology.
- Proven experience managing nurture programs, newsletters, campaign emails, product updates, and landing pages.
- Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, segmentation strategy, and funnel progression.
- Hands-on expertise with Marketo (and/or HubSpot); experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Experience leveraging AI to improve email performance, personalization, testing, and workflow optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate insights into measurable performance improvements.
- Highly independent, self-sufficient, and comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor within a growth-focused team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
