We are looking for a driven and proactive (Group) Head of Presales Consulting (m/f/d) to lead and develop our growing Sales Engineering team. The ideal candidate will understand the SaaS landscape, enterprise consultative selling, and managing pre-sales engagements all while continually looking for ways to improve our execution. In this role you are a leader who encourages collaboration and innovation within the team and across the company to win new business and expand our business within our existing customer base.


  • Lead Sales Engineering team responsible for pioneering the success of thinkproject
  • Work closely with the sales organization to establish sales approaches
  • Present products and solutions to prospects, customers, and company associates
  • Gather requirements and customer feedback, to ensure our success
  • Contribute to our diverse team culture and bring a passion for mentoring and developing talent
  • Build the solution to the prospect’s needs and evaluate their purchasing decision
  • Responsible for defining, developing, managing, and implementing all strategic pre-sales activities and outcomes on a company-wide basis  
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to manage the customer journey from discovery, establish business value “solution of choice” to win as a team and handover to deliver for a seamless customer experience
  • Effectively interact with executives internal and external to the group


  • 10+ years’ experience in the software industry incl. 3 years‘ management experience
  • Passion for building and supporting diverse teams
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Experience establishing a presales organization and related enablement, required materials and best-practices
  • Proven track record of successful work as a trusted advisor
  • Ability to leverage solution expertise, build relationships and gain the trust of business and technical users
  • Enterprise sales process experience in the B2B software sector, sales method experience such as MEDDIC a plus
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Very good performance management and team building skills
  • Proven leadership skills in the ability to recruit, mentor, coach and develop employees
  • Fluent English language skills required, German is a plus
  • Experience in the Construction Industry or related industries is a plus
