What your day will look like
- Continuous Evaluation: Continual review of existing business systems, software solutions and processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management and line of business functions to define and execute the Business Systems strategy aligned with the company's long-term business goals.
- Budget Management: Day to day management of the Business Systems budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining high-quality services.
- Project Management: Responsible for planning and execution of Business Systems projects, from engagement with business stakeholders, requirements gathering, implementation to handover for ongoing support, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the efficient delivery of quality services and solutions.
- IT Governance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and security standards, fostering a strong culture of data privacy and protection.
- Systems Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, advising management on potential opportunities for improving productivity, efficiency, and minimising cost.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of existing business systems, providing management with feedback and recommendations for improvement.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Proven track record of effective supplier & contract management.
- Experience with delivering complex software deployment and business transformation projects at scale and to defined timelines.
- Familiar with delivering software integrations which enhance the functionality of business systems while ensuring security standards are maintained.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with enterprise-level software applications, ERP systems, CRM systems, and other business tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
