What your day will look like
Mission
The Global Health & Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the organisation’s global Health & Safety strategy and ensuring compliance with international, regional and local regulations. A key part of the role is the close collaboration with local Office Managers at each site to ensure that global standards are consistently translated into safe and compliant day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities
· Define and maintain global H&S policies, standards and procedures
· Work closely with local Office Managers on risk assessments, workplace checks, emergency planning and incident reporting
· Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and relevant national H&S legislation
· Lead H&S audits, incident investigations and corrective actions
· Deliver training and promote a proactive safety culture globally
· Monitor H&S performance, KPIs and provide regular reports to leadership
· Coordinate crisis and emergency response across all offices
What you need to fulfill the role
Experience
- Strong international H&S experience and knowledge of global regulations
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven track record in implementing H&S frameworks across multiple countries
- Relevant H&S certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred
Functional expertise or method expertise
- Ability to coach and support local site/office teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly and professional demeanour
