Thinkproject is looking for a skilled and forward-thinking AI & Automation Specialist to lead the development and deployment of intelligent automation across the business. You’ll bring together AI tools and enterprise systems to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual workload, and unlock smarter workflows across departments.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role — perfect for someone who is fluent in both English and French, has a solid grasp of business processes, and is confident working with generative and agentic AI platforms.

What your day will look like

Main responsibilities

  • AI & Automation Development:  Design and implement automation solutions. Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and internal service delivery.  Build automations that support document handling, ticket routing, notifications, and repetitive business tasks.
  • Enterprise Systems Integration: Integrate AI and automation workflows with NetSuite (ERP), Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft 365 and other back-office platforms. Ensure stability, security, and performance of integrated systems and data flows.
  • Business Process Discovery: Partner with business units (Customer Service, Finance, HR, etc.) to identify automation candidates through discovery sessions and process analysis. Create detailed solution proposals including ROI estimation and technical feasibility.
  • Operational Enablement: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise deployed automations. Maintain documentation, SOPs, and support materials to ensure maintainability. Advocate for responsible AI adoption and proper governance of automation assets.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Provide guidance and support to development and technical teams. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the organisation's IT capabilities and drive innovation.
  • Governance: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides. Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users as needed.
  • Risk: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT solutions, including security vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and operational challenges. Develop strategies to address these risks and ensure the resilience of IT systems.

What you need to fulfill the role

Experience (technical / leadership)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AI-driven or RPA-based automation delivery using platforms.

Functional expertise or method expertise

  • Skills: Hands-on experience integrating with enterprise systems like NetSuite, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce.
  • Expertise and hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI tools.
  • This is a hands-on role expected to design, implement, and maintain automation workflows, including light scripting and API-based integration.
  • Familiarity with process mining or workflow optimisation tools.
  • Languages: Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management and business analysis skills.
  • Certifications: Certifications in RPA platforms, enterprise applications, such as NetSuite and Salesforce, or generative and agentic AI platforms are advantageous. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or process optimisation methodologies is a strong plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities.
