What do we do?
What your day will look like
- Draft, review, and negotiate international contracts, including framework agreements, master agreements, licensing agreements, cloud/SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, partner agreements, NDAs, supplier agreements and inbound IT agreements.
- Strong understanding of Data Protection Laws with experience in negotiating Data Protection Agreements.
- Draft and negotiate complex, strategic non-standard agreements.
- Help with standardisation of documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Streamline contracting processes, improving templates, terms and workflows to support high scale transactions.
- Developing and improving our library of form agreements, templates and playbooks to comply with changes in law and changes in the market.
- Support internal teams (e.g. finance, compliance) with legal training and policy development.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Assist in the management of the company’s IP portfolio and ensure proper protection and enforcement.
- Understand and interpret AI laws and their applicability to thinkproject’s business.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to develop processes related to AI adaption.
- Provide guidance to the business teams regarding the compliance requirements around the use of AI technology. Also, drive negotiations on AI-related terms in customer and supplier contracts.
- Monitor and research legal developments in key jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.
- Provide legal advice on international business activities and regulatory requirements.
- Educate employees about legal issues through guidance and training programs.
Promote a culture of legal compliance throughout the organisation.
- Help identify and mitigate legal risks across the organisation.
- Assist with corporate governance, including minutes and statutory books and filings.
- Assist in maintaining corporate records and preparing legal documents relating to shareholder meetings, board resolutions and other corporate matters.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Qualified solicitor or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal practice with in-house experience preferred.
- Relevant experience in the IT/tech sector is highly desirable
- Experience in commercial and privacy matters in multinational environment.
- Understanding of cloud/SaaS services, technology channel, and professional services.
- Fluency in another European language advantageous (preferred German and/or French)
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
- High level negotiations and legal drafting skills,
- Ability to work in fast-paced multicultural environment.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and also in teams.
- Intellectual agility, curiosity and confidence to learn quickly on the job and learn to manage legal issues outside your current experience and skill set.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
