What your day will look like
- Project management of the process and system harmonization for the F&A area within the Thinkproject group:
- Establish standard processes and systems across the entire group in the area of F&A
- Ensure transparency, scalability and the greatest possible efficiency
- Support for positioning F&A in the company as a reliable, proactive business partner
- Development and implementation of solutions for corporate management and performance optimization in Controlling & Finance with a focus on IPO readiness
- New introduction and optimization of existing processes with the respective functional areas
- Planning process (introduction of rolling forecast, optimization of budget planning & 3-year planning)
- Reporting (to private equity shareholders, supervisory board, banks, internally)
- Optimizing data consolidation, analysis, and internal provision to ensure actionable, predictive data accessibility from anywhere, at any time
- Identifying and recognizing technology trends and their relevance for our company (e.g. artificial intelligence in accounting, predictive analytics for planning, etc.)
- Close cooperation with other departments at home and abroad for common digital strategies
- Participation in company-wide projects / programs related to process and system implementation and optimization
- "Quality Lead" for the area of F&A with a focus on continuous improvement
What you need to fulfill the role
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, business or financial control, corporate finance, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; Masters Degree a plus
- Experience with FP&A in the SaaS/Tech industry
- Demonstrated experience, willingness, and enthusiasm to build from the ground up and do whatever is needed with a strong focus on results
- Expertise in building financial models to support multiple business needs
- Strong experience with Salesforce and ERP systems incl. Netsuite. Superb Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficient in database and data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to understand all aspects of the organizations business
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships with all internal and external business partners
- Comfort in a hybrid & remote work environment
- Strong presenter with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in writing
- Organized, strategically focused, detail-oriented
- Thrives on making a difference in a fast-paced environment and a strong desire to contribute to the growth of the company
- Outstanding proficiency in written and verbal English communication
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence business leaders
- Strong understanding of IFRS. Chartered accountancy qualification (ACCA or other) is a plus
