What your day will look like
- Interface between customers and the sales team, as well as between suppliers and our internal managers, accounting, finance & other stakeholders
- Operational contact person on the topics of quote/opportunity setup, contracts, and invoices (creditors and debtors)
- Actively engage with Sales, Finance, Operations and other teams as necessary. Consult and give direction on deal setup, contractual terms, quote and commercial parameters to maximize bookings/revenue/margins/cash for the company
- Processing of new incoming customer orders and contracts in the form of acceptance, verification and processing in our system
- Monitor and rectify compliance of customer deal terms in accordance with the company’s commercial and financial rules and internal policies
- Ensure completeness of datapoints and consistency of deal-related and customer-related information in CRM and other relevant systems
- Collaborate with Sales Operations on deal construct, be a key advisor to Sales and Services on optimal deal construct, technical processing of Sales opportunities & related topics
- Changes to existing customer orders and contracts in cooperation with the sales team
- Processing the system-supported invoicing of our software as a service and service revenues
- Processing of written and telephone enquiries regarding invoicing, contracts, processes, orders
- Questioning and optimizing existing processes and procedures
What you need to fulfill the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German, French, or another European language is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Sales, Finance, Billing, Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
- Demonstrated successful experience in one or more of the following areas: order management, billings, sales/renewal management, deal desk, and/or finance.
- Excels at collaborating with and influencing business leaders
- Proven ability to lead change and build successful collaborative relationships across regions, teams, functions, and with internal and external business partners.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early-morning or late-evening collaboration with the ANZ region.
- Displays strong IT affinity and uses MS Office and ERP/CRM systems with ease.
- Strong presenter with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both orally and in writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Quick comprehension, high reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Hands-on mentality with high initiative, flexibility, and strong team spirit.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong desire to contribute to company growth.
