Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). What your day will look like

As the Product Operations & Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and tools to support the product management organization better engage with the business and its customer base. You will also project manage the planning and execution of our cross product collaborative initiatives.  You will coordinate with stakeholders from different departments, manage cross team dependencies and provide regular project status updates to the CXO. You report directly into the Chief Product Officer.  
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple strategic product development projects, ensuring delivery based on our commitments to sales and customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, services, sales and customers to define deliverables for our strategic product initiatives and manage execution via respective product teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and managing expectations.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Own and manage our Product management processes and associated tools: You will be directly responsible for our product management tool AHA! Core responsibility will be to rollout and maintain this across the business (inc. sales and services) and into our customer base as this provides key communication platform between our customers and product management teams.

What you need to fulfill the role

  • Experience: Previous experience in project management is essential. Product management, program management across a SAAS product suite is highly desired. Specifically, experience of coordination and project management of multiple, cross continental product teams.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in project management tools (ideally Aha!, Dev ops and Jira). You should have excellent English language skills.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
