What your day will look like
Mission
- The Document Controller is responsible for the daily operational management of project documents.
- He/she ensures the registration, quality control, distribution and archiving of documentation, in compliance with both internal and client standards.
- This role is essential in guaranteeing the circulation and traceability of information, making sure all project stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date data.
Main responsibilities
- Register, classify, and verify documents in accordance with project standards and procedures.
- Perform quality control and ensure compliance of documents before distribution.
- Distribute validated documents in the appropriate EDM platforms, following defined workflows.
- Monitor deliverables, send reminders as needed, and issue alerts for deadlines.
- Regularly update document tracking tools and produce standard reports.
- Prepare backups and support project handovers to ensure business continuity.
- Organize and manage final archiving of project documents.
What you need to fulfill the role
- 1–3 years of experience in document control or project administrative support.
- No managerial responsibilities.
- Knowledge of EDM tools (Thinkproject, SharePoint, Mezzoteam, Aconex…).
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and thoroughness.
