We are looking for a driven and proactive Sales Director (m/f/d) for new accounts to lead and develop one of our growing enterprise sales teams in the German market. The ideal candidate will understand the SaaS landscape, leading sales teams, enterprise selling, and managing sales engagements all while continually looking for ways to improve our execution. In this role, you are a leader who encourages collaboration and innovation within the team and across the company to win new business and expand our business within our existing customer base. 
Reporting to the Managing Director Germany

Engage, empower & learn | Your tasks

  • Lead of one Enterprise Sales team responsible for hunting new enterprise customer logos in the respective market segments 
  • Building and developing relationships with strategic prospect customers (“new logos”) in the enterprise segment  
  • Work closely with the pre-sales organization and delivery organisation to establish sales approaches 
  • Develop and pitch a vlaue roadmap for prospects 
  • Acquire and develop new sales talent 
  • Establish, execute and monitor a clear sales process including reliable short-, mid- and long term forecasting. Establish MEDDIC as the best practise sales methodology. 
  • Partner with PreSales and Customer Success to manage the customer journey from discovery, establish business value “solution of choice” to win as a team and handover to deliver for a seamless customer experience 
  • Effectively interact with executives internal and external to the group 
  • Optimisation of sales processes(e.g. MEDDIC Sales method-ology, Forecasting, etc.) and structures(Usage of CRM, team organisation, Sales Enablement, etc.) in close cooperation with Managing Direct0r Germany 

Open-minded, committed & versatile | Your profile

  • 7+ years’ experience in the software industry and in customer facing roles carrying a quota  
  • Incl. Min 4 years‘ management or team leading experience 
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills 
  • Experience in leading outcome driven and high-performing sales teams 
  • Enterprise sales process experience in the B2B software sector, sales method experience such as MEDDIC a plus 
  • Excellent communicational, organizational and leadership skills 
  • Very good performance management and team building skills 
  • Proven leadership skills in the ability to recruit, mentor, coach and develop employees 
  • Experience in the Construction Industry or related industries is a plus
  • Fluent German and English language skills required
