What your day will look like
- Cash Management:
- Monitor and manage daily cash positions to optimize liquidity
- Further development and/or implementation of TMS for the group
- Implement strategies to minimize idle cash and interest expense
- You are the contact person for all subsidiaries (in the context of treasury management, intercompany loans)
- Risk Management:
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposure
- Bank/Lender Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and lenders
- Collaborate with banks to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Debt Management:
- Manage existing debt facilities and support towards optimizing the company's capital structure
- Ensure compliance with debt covenants
- Cash Forecasting:
- Develop and maintain accurate short-term cash flow forecasting models
- Provide regular updates to finance leadership on anticipated cash needs
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Identify and communicate deviations and their implications.
- You answer KYC requests
What you need to fulfill the role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CTP, CPA) is a plus
- At least 5 years of professional experience progressive experience in treasury roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Very good knowledge of treasury systems, banking products, and financial instruments
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash flow forecasting and financial modelling
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in German and English (spoken and written), with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with treasury management software
