Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). What your day will look like

  • As part of the FP&A team, you oversee all financial aspects related to revenue and support with the validation of key cost drivers
  • Review contractual terms and ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15
  • Analyse revenue development by customer as part of the month end closing and review variances to forecast / budget
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and maintain strong controls around the completeness and accuracy of revenue
  • Assist in drafting group revenue recognition policies & procedures
  • Sparring partner for Group and Local Accounting, Order management, Billing, Sales and Delivery regarding revenue recognition and reporting
  • Assist with revenue forecasting and analysing bookings to revenue conversion

What you need to fulfill the role

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or related filed. Professional accounting certification is highly desirable
  • 5+ years’ experience in Controlling / Accounting. Previous Big4 experience and knowledge of SaaS business models would be an advantage
  • Very good Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with NetSuite, SalesForce and LucaNet is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English and ideally good German skills
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced international environment
