What your day will look like
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (f/m/d) with deep expertise in React Native and proven experience delivering high-quality mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can also mentor others, lead mobile projects end-to-end, and ensure scalable, performant, and user-friendly solutions. Prior experience with Xamarin or .NET MAUI will be a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on clean, maintainable architecture.
- Integrate third-party APIs and libraries to extend application functionality.
- Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and proactively recommend improvements.
- Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure functionality and stability.
- Oversee compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines and manage release processes.
What you need to fulfill the role
- 7- 9 years of experience in mobile application development, including 4+ years in React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Proven track record of deploying apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Prior experience with Xamarin / .NET MAUI and any native mobile development (Java/Kotlin or Swift/Objective-C).
- App Distribution & Analytics: TestFlight, Google Play Console, AppCenter.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, and server-side technologies.
- Experience with Azure, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid grasp of mobile architecture, UI/UX principles, and best coding practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Nice to Have
- Cloud Backends: Knowhow of Firebase, AWS Amplify or Azure Mobile Apps.
- UI/UX Design Systems: Figma, Material Design, Apple HI
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Capable of mentoring team members and guiding code quality standards.
- Ownership mindset: able to take features from design to deployment independently.
