What do we do?
Our Mission
At Thinkproject, we are on a mission to digitise and transform the built environment. As Europe’s leading Built Asset Lifecycle Platform provider, we help construction, infrastructure, and energy organisations plan, deliver, and operate assets more efficiently, safely, and sustainably.
Our Values & Culture
We foster a culture that is insightful, straightforward, and relatable. We value curiosity about our customers, rigour around evidence, and the ability to turn technical complexity into clear, compelling narratives.
Joining Thinkproject means stepping into a collaborative, ambitious, and high-trust international environment where your ideas matter, your voice is heard, and your autonomy is respected.
What your day will look like
As a key member of our Global Product Marketing team, you will own product marketing for an assigned area of Thinkproject’s product portfolio.
Our Product Marketing organisation mirrors the company’s product structure. This allows each Product Marketing Manager to develop deep expertise in their product domain, customers, use cases and competitive landscape, while contributing to integrated propositions across the broader Thinkproject platform.
You will work closely with the Product Management to shape positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy throughout the product lifecycle. You will also connect Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing around a clear understanding of the customer problems we solve and the commercial value we deliver.
We are looking for a consultative, data-driven strategist and strong storyteller. You thrive when working independently but excel at bringing cross-functional partners with you. You are comfortable challenging assumptions, pushing back constructively with evidence and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Expertise: Become the product marketing expert for your assigned product area, developing a deep understanding of its customers, users, use cases, capabilities, market dynamics and commercial opportunities.
- Positioning and Storytelling: Create distinctive, outcome-focused positioning and messaging that translates complex product capabilities into clear customer and business value.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead cross-functional go-to-market plans for new products, major releases, features and propositions—from market insight and audience definition through launch, activation and performance evaluation.
- Product Partnership: Partner closely with Product Management throughout the product lifecycle, bringing customer, market and competitive insights into roadmap, packaging and commercialisation decisions.
- Commercial Activation: Equip Sales, Customer Success and partners with high-impact enablement tools, including playbooks, battlecards, decks, demo narratives, use cases and objection-handling guidance.
- Customer and Market Intelligence: Build a deep understanding of priority buyers, purchasing criteria, market developments and the competitive landscape. Turn these insights into actionable recommendations.
- Integrated Platform Propositions: Collaborate with other Product Marketing Managers to develop cross-product use cases and propositions that demonstrate the value of Thinkproject’s broader Built Asset Lifecycle Platform.
- Demand and Commercial Impact: Work with Demand Generation, Content and Brand teams to turn product propositions into effective campaigns, content and buyer journeys.
- Measurement and Optimisation: Define success measures for launches and product marketing initiatives, track performance against adoption, pipeline and growth objectives, and apply the insights to future programmes.
What Success Looks Like
- Clear Product Positioning: Your product area has a distinctive, evidence-based position that resonates with priority customers and differentiates Thinkproject from competitors.
- Successful Go-to-Market Execution: Launches are well planned, aligned across functions and effectively activated across relevant markets and customer segments.
- Commercial Confidence: Sales and Customer Success teams communicate the value of your product area clearly, consistently and competitively.
- Customer-Led Decisions: Product and commercial decisions are actively informed by customer, market and competitive insight.
- Connected Platform Story: Individual product propositions support and strengthen Thinkproject’s broader Built Asset Lifecycle Platform narrative.
- Measurable Growth: Product marketing contributes demonstrably to pipeline creation, win rates, product adoption and commercial growth.
- Trusted Influence: You are recognised as a trusted strategic partner by Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing stakeholders.
What you need to bring to the role
- 6+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software or another complex technology environment.
- A strong track record in positioning and messaging, go-to-market strategy, product launches and sales enablement.
- Demonstrable ability to translate complex products and technical concepts into clear, differentiated and commercially relevant propositions.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management and influencing product strategy through customer, market and competitive insight.
- Strong commercial judgement and an understanding of how Product Marketing contributes to demand generation, sales effectiveness, adoption and revenue growth.
- Experience developing buyer insights, market analysis and competitive intelligence and applying them to commercial decisions.
- The ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Demand Generation, Content and Brand teams.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English.
- The confidence to influence senior stakeholders, constructively challenge assumptions and build alignment without direct authority.
- A pragmatic and proactive approach, with the ability to set priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-moving international organisation.
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to grounding messaging and recommendations in evidence.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve the quality, speed and effectiveness of Product Marketing workflows.
Helpful Additional Experience
- Experience with Common Data Environment—or CDE—solutions, including knowledge of the customer workflows, use cases and competitive landscape surrounding them.
- Knowledge of BIM, ISO 19650, document and information management, or collaboration workflows across construction projects.
- Experience in construction technology, AEC software, infrastructure, energy or another asset-intensive industry.
- Experience marketing products that form part of a broader multi-product SaaS platform.
- Experience working within an international organisation and supporting go-to-market activity across multiple markets.
- Proficiency in German or another European language.
