What your day will look like
Main responsibilities:
- You will lead, guide and manage a team of Systems Engineers and foster a high performing culture of collaboration.
- Assign and monitor tasks and projects to team members to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely completion of projects and goals.
- You will conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to encourage professional development within the team.
- Active participation in IT projects and in daily business to ensure operations and technical further development.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability and security while adhering to best practices and industry standards for our solutions.
- Provision and delivering of relevant and required KPIs for our solutions and infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments to align IT infrastructure and operations with business objectives and ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
- Working with our IT security and compliance team to improve and maintain the company's ISO 27001 certification and BSI C5.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in defining project requirements and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives.
What you need to fulfill the role
Expertise and Qualifications:
- Well-founded qualification as an IT specialist (System integration) or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in leading small teams is preferred.
- More than 3-5 years of practical experience in IT systems engineer role, preferably in a technical role of client-oriented platforms.
- You combine your problem-solving skills with strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
- Experience in operating Co-locations solutions.
- Building and operating cloud infrastructures and applications on Azure are welcome.
