What do we do?
Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we'll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.
What your day will look like
- You will lead, guide and manage a team of Systems Engineers and foster a high performing culture of collaboration.
- Assign and monitor tasks and projects to team members to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely completion of projects and goals
- You will conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to encourage professional development within the team.
- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and operations in different environments.
- Active participation in IT projects and in daily business to ensure operations and technical development.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability and security while adhering to best practices and industry standards for our solutions.
- Oversee daily operations of IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
- Provision and delivering of relevant and required KPIs for our solutions and infrastructure
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments to align IT infrastructure and operations with business objectives and ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
- Working with our IT security and compliance team to improve and maintain the company's ISO 27001 certification and BSI C5.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in defining project requirements and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives.
What you need to fulfill the role
- Well-founded qualification as an IT specialist (System integration) or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in leading small teams is preferred.
- More than 3-5 years of practical experience in IT systems engineer role, preferably in a technical role of client-oriented platforms.
- You combine your problem-solving skills with strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
- Strong skills with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu etc.)
- Automation software and scripting experience (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience in building and operating cloud infrastructures and applications on Azure are welcome.
- You have good English skills, knowledge of German language is an advantage due to the team.
