Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.

What your day will look like

·       Write engaging guides that meet the needs of diverse target audiences, to ensure our users understand our products.
·       Able to simplify and pen down complex concepts to transform technical information into user-friendly content.
·       Maintain our database of reference materials, including procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
·       Continuously assess existing documentation and propose innovative methods for improvement to enhance user experience.
·       Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and support, to develop, maintain, and improve product documentation, ensuring consistency alignment with business objectives.  
·       Implement best practices for data compilation and centralised storage.
·       Administer and optimise our Content Management System (CMS): MadCap and Confluence, for efficiently uploading, editing, and organising content.
·       Manage the MadCap documentation system, collaborating with subject-matter experts (SMEs) and content authors, ensuring seamless up-to-date delivery across multiple target outputs. 
·       Train and support authors and SMEs in using a Content Management System.

What you need to fulfill the role

Experience
·       2-5 years of experience in content management or a similar role.

·       Hands-on experience with CMS platforms

·       Content writing


Functional expertise or method expertise
·       DITA XML understanding and rules related awareness

·       Experience with MadCap, OxygenXML, or similar DITA XML Tool

·       Understanding and ability to write “Structured Content”

·       Understanding of version control and how Git interacts with tools[SM1] 

·       Fluent in English 

·       Strong communication skills

·       Ability to solve technical problems independently or as a team

·       A good team spirit and positive attitude
