We are looking for a Credit & Collection Specialist to join our local team on a 6-month temporary contract.This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control and collection processes.If you're detail-oriented and have a background in finance or accounting, we’d love to hear from you!

What your day will look like

Main responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and improving the accounts receivable process, including tracking and reconciling payments.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients to secure payments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to invoices or payments.
  • Collaborate with the billing team, sales, and customer service teams to address client inquiries and resolve billing issues promptly.

What you need to fulfill the role

Background:

  • Prior experience is not mandatory; however, initial practical exposure to finance through an internship or a working student role would be an advantage.
  • Professional with an educational foundation in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Approachable, flexible and communicative.
  • Keen to take responsibility and work independently.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
