We are looking for a Credit & Collection Specialist to join our local team on a 6-month temporary contract.This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in credit control and collection processes.If you're detail-oriented and have a background in finance or accounting, we’d love to hear from you!
What your day will look like
Main responsibilities
- Assist in managing and improving the accounts receivable process, including tracking and reconciling payments.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with clients to secure payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes related to invoices or payments.
- Collaborate with the billing team, sales, and customer service teams to address client inquiries and resolve billing issues promptly.
What you need to fulfill the role
Background:
- Prior experience is not mandatory; however, initial practical exposure to finance through an internship or a working student role would be an advantage.
- Professional with an educational foundation in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Approachable, flexible and communicative.
- Keen to take responsibility and work independently.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
